My brother is in Santa Barbara right now, where according to Weather.com it is 70 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow, they are predicting that it will be 76 degrees. And sunny. Sunday? 79 degrees. Sunny.
I'm trying not to get jealous.
There is a little part of me that keeps thinking - go ahead - fly out to Santa Barbara and visit him.
You know what the most irresponsible thing I could possibly do right now would be?

It would be one thing if it were just the flight. But it is never just the flight.

Cute is an interesting word. Cute in the dictionary suggests delightfully pretty or dainty; contrived to charm; precious; shrewd... LOL. Which of those do you think best describes him?
I hope some of the SAS bashers who responded to this blog's innocuous comment about Guinea Pigs (yes I do remember how badly they smelled and how loudly they shrieked) spend as much time and energy reading to disdvantaged children in urban schools, or serving in soup kitchens feeding the indigent, or working to elect candidates (not politicians) who will serve for the true good-of-the-cause.....
